Hiring of VPN Services for GAIL Agartala

h. With due permission from concerned GAIL site engineers/official
service provider may utilize GAIL’s existing earthing system for
providing earthing to their equipment installed at GAIL’s
premises. However, the adequacy of the same shall have to be
ensured and checked by service provider prior to its usage and if
the same does not suit the requirement, service provider shall
arrange to provide the same for the supplied equipment.
i. Site acceptance test (SAT) of links / connectivity will be carried
out for 48 hours in presence of GAIL’s representative as per
approved test procedure and in line with ITU-T recommendation.
On successful completion of the tests, the link will be declared
commissioned. The billing period will start from the date of
commissioning of link.
j. To carry out the acceptance test of links, all test & measuring
equipments and accessories will be arranged by the Service
Provider. Service provider will submit auto generated reports of
test instruments.
k. Service provider will ensure to maintain end – to – end
connectivity as per the agreed SLA.
l. Service provider will have full fledged Central Network
Management Centre (NMC) managed by highly skilled manpower
on 24 X 7 X 365 day basis for remote monitoring, diagnosis, fault
management and configuration of the links.
m. After the award of the contract, service provider will provide the
procedures for call logging system to lodge complain with contact
details and escalation chart.
n. Service provider will ensure adequate security to the transmitted
data over their VPN network and will guarantee that the
transmitted data will not be prone to any sort of external hacking
over their network.
o. Service provider shall submit quarterly link availability report of
individual link indicating reasons of failure/problems for link to
Engineer-in-Charge or any other designated representative during
the service contract period. However, information on critical
