7. Acceptance Tests (AT):<br />

Site Acceptance Tests<br />

On completion <strong>of</strong> installation, configuration, testing, commissioning <strong>of</strong><br />

the solution but be<strong>for</strong>e commissioning <strong>of</strong> the links, <strong>GAIL</strong> and supplier<br />

will check <strong>for</strong> the correctness and completeness <strong>of</strong> the configuration and<br />

completeness in the solution <strong>for</strong> acceptability.<br />

Complete functionalities will be tested as per the specifications &<br />

functional requirements.<br />

8. Guarantee, warranty and maintenance:<br />

a) The SERVICE PROVIDER will be responsible <strong>for</strong> the trouble free<br />

operation <strong>of</strong> all the links.<br />

b) The links shall be used and will be in operation on round the clock basis.<br />

c) There will be at least one land line number, one mobile number, one fax<br />

number and e-mail box id wherein call can be logged in the event <strong>of</strong><br />

link/connectivity failure. The penalty will be calculated from the time<br />

call has been logged to the time the logged call is closed upon resolving<br />

the problem. Cumulatively all the down times will be added and the<br />

penalty will be quarterly calculated accordingly.<br />

d) In case <strong>of</strong> maintenance activities <strong>of</strong> the equipments installed at various<br />

sites, the same may be carried out with due permission from the concern<br />

authorities. Delay in obtaining permission shall not be considered as any<br />

reason <strong>for</strong> delay in making the links up.<br />

Service Level Agreement (SLA) terms and conditions <strong>for</strong> hired<br />

connectivity / link<br />

Guaranteed Service Level<br />

Service provider will provide the guaranteed service level <strong>for</strong> each<br />

end-to-end link/connectivity on Monthly basis meeting the<br />

following <strong>for</strong> total contract service period after its acceptance &<br />

commissioning.<br />

o The overall Service Availability shall be more than 99.0%.<br />
