PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS<br />

Location and Land Area This site is bordered by E Street SE to the north, 1 st Street to the<br />

east, Virginia Avenue to the south, and South Capitol Street to the west. It encompasses 12.86<br />

acres, or 0.49 percent <strong>of</strong> the <strong>District</strong>’s industrial land.<br />

Building Typologies The buildings are all industrial in nature—primarily a medium sized-power<br />

plant.<br />

General Site Condition The site appears to be in good condition. It is well-guarded and<br />

fenced.<br />
