Dr. med. vet. Ralf S Mueller Graduated in Munich/Germany in 1985, completed his thesis in 1987, and worked in several large and small animal practices before completing a residency in veterinary dermatology at the University of California/Davis in 1992. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and a Fellow of the Australian College of Veterinary Science. In 1992 he moved to Melbourne/Australia to work with his partner and wife Dr. Sonya Bettenay. Together, they created the first, purpose-built specialist practice not linked to a general practice in Australia. They established the Distance Education Program in Veterinary Dermatology of the Postgraduate Foundation in Veterinary Science of the University of Sydney. During that time, Dr. Mueller was concurrently consulting and teaching at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital/University of Sydney. In 1999, he became Assistant Professor in Veterinary Dermatology at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences/Colorado State University, where he is involved in teaching, consulting and veterinary dermatology research. He has published over 100 studies, articles, book chapters and books in the German, English, Spanish and French literature in Australia, Europe and America and given over 200 seminars, lectures and talks in Australia, Europe, United States, New Zealand and Canada. Dr. Mueller has two children, Anya and Florian and when he is not working, he takes his family skiing, rock-climbing or hiking. Dr Reg Pascoe AM, BVSc. DVSc. FRCVS. FACVSc. Graduated from the University of Queensland in 1951. Commenced general large animal practice in Oakey and in 1969 established a large animal hospital, predominantly for horses. Is a registered specialist in Equine Surgery and has a special interest in Dermatology, presenting his first paper on skin diseases in 1971.Author and co author on four equine Dermatology books and over 60 refereed scientific published articles Biography: University of Queensland BVSc 1951, MVSc. 1967 , DVSc. 1984; Adjunct Professor Veterinary Science 1998; FRCVS 1973, FACVSc 1975. Began private general rural practice in Oakey 1952; equine practice covering reproduction, surgery and dermatology from 1966; Specialist in Equine Surgery since 1988. Published over 60 referred articles, author of Equine Dermatoses (3 editions), Colour Atlas of Skin Diseases of Horses, and Vade Mecum II - Diseases of Horses.Co-author Colour Atlas of Equine Diseases and Handbook of Equine Dermatology. Dr Linda Vogelnest Graduated from Sydney University 1984. Worked in small animal practice in Australia and locuming in UK for 4 years. Full-time head of small animal unit at Sydney University Veterinary Centre Camden for 2 years, then part-time registrar in small animals for 8 years.
