ACSIP http://acsip.state.ar.us/cgi-bin/index.cgi?rm=report_acsip teachers professional development with a focus on problem solving skills through after school monthly math team meetings. During the meetings, student data will be analyzed, professional texts will be studied, instructional strategies will be discussed, professional growth plans will be addressed, interventions will be planned for struggling students, pacing guides discussed, and refinement of the alignment of the curriculum will be continued. Through the continued use of a data wall, teachers will be able to monitor student and class progress. The teachers will be paid @ $15 per hour, and the Math Instructional Facilitator will be paid @ $30 per hour for preparation and presentation. This online program assists teachers in tracking student growth and provides individual student intervention activities that improve math skills. Professional development will be provided to teachers when needed on the use of the iPads. The math instructional facilitator and teachers will be provided with professional development when appropriate. Action Type: Collaboration Action Type: Professional Development (1-2) TRANSITION: The transition for second grade students will be made easier by allowing the students to tour the Central Elementary School at the end of the current school year. A Step-Up Night will be held district wide to inform parents and students about the upcoming school year. Action Type: Collaboration (1-2) Renewing subscription for i-Ready web-based computer programs in math to be used in the computer lab and the classrooms. The web-based programs will be used to supplement instruction and provide interventions when needed. Professional development will be provided as needed. The leadership team will hold regular meetings. The Principal/Leadership Team will have regular faculty meetings to give teachers an opportunity to give feedback, ask questions, make suggestions, and verbalize needs and wants. Action Type: Collaboration (1-2) Professional development will be provided by the Crowley's Ridge Educational Co-op throughout the current school year. The training will include but not be limited to Common Core, instructional facilitator training, using high-yield strategies, technology, and Bloom's Taxonomy.
