The team will set short term goals and high yield strategies to implement during the next intervention period. Action Type: Technology Inclusion Action Type: Title I Schoolwide (K) TIMELY AND EFFECTIVE REMEDIATION/PARENTAL ENGAGEMENT: A math Academic Improvement Plan (AIP) will be developed with parental involvement for students who do not achieve proficiency levels on mClass Benchmark Assessment to pinpoint exact skills which need to be mastered. Interventions will be provided in the classroom by the teacher/paraprofessional. The lowest performing students will receive interventions targeted toward their specific needs from the math interventionist with support from the Math Instructional Facilitator (supplemental to ACT 397). Action Type: AIP/IRI Action Type: Collaboration Action Type: Equity Action Type: Parental Engagement Action Type: Title I Schoolwide (K) PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/COLLABORATION/ TECHNOLOGY/TEACHERS INVOLVED IN DECISION MAKING/COORDINATION OF FUNDS: The Math Instructional Facilitator will provide ongoing, continuous mentoring and support the teachers in implementing best practices based on Common Core Standards. She will collaborate with teachers during planning times and after school. Meetings will focus on analyzing CWT data reports to determine which high yield strategies are being used as well as other areas of need indicated by the reports. Common Core Standards will be discussed to develop lesson plans and create weekly assessments. During the development of lesson plans, the professional text Hands-On Standards will be used as a resource to ensure that manipulatives are integrated. Ideas for integrating technology in the classroom will be shared. Math assessments will be analyzed and a data wall will be developed to track student growth.
