17.1 Outline of Binary Converter<br />

■ Overview of the Split Mode<br />

A split mode means that the memory image converted by binary converter is split for specified bytes and<br />

output into multiple binary data file.<br />

Figure 17.1-2 shows an overview of the split mode. In Figure 17.1-2, every byte of data is output in turns<br />

into two files. In the split mode, every specified byte of data may be output in turns into sixteen files<br />

maximum.<br />

Use the -sp option to specify the split mode. For details on how to use the -sp option, see Section "17.3.2<br />

Specifying the Split Mode (-sp)".<br />
