ARTICLE 15<br />

Shall <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> vote to raise and appropriate <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $59,931<br />

($46,176 wages, $13,755 benefits) to create two (2) new police <strong>of</strong>ficer positions<br />

to serve as School Resource Officers at Winnacunnet High School and <strong>Hampton</strong><br />

Academy Junior High working for <strong>the</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> Police Department? This<br />

amount represents nine months' salary and benefits for <strong>the</strong> two positions for<br />

1999. The total annual salary <strong>of</strong> $61,120 and benefits <strong>of</strong> $15,200, as adjusted,<br />

for <strong>the</strong> two positions will be included in future budget requests and may be<br />

partially reimbursed by state or federal grants, and by <strong>the</strong> Winnacunnet High<br />

School District.<br />

ARTICLE 16<br />

Shall <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> vote to raise and appropriate <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $49,465<br />

($39,375 wages, $10,090 benefits) to create <strong>the</strong> new position <strong>of</strong> Technology<br />

Coordinator as a <strong>Town</strong> employee? The position will <strong>report</strong> to <strong>the</strong> Director <strong>of</strong><br />

Accounting. The responsibilities shall include but not be limited to and will<br />

be responsible for administering and maintaining <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong>'s wide area<br />

computer network, implementing <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong>'s technology plan,<br />

and testing <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong>'s Y2K solutions.<br />

Shall <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> raise and appropriate $47,000 for a feasibility study,<br />

design engineering, and- permitting, and for construction <strong>of</strong> a storm drainage<br />

system in <strong>the</strong> Sun Valley area?<br />

ARTICLE 18<br />

Shall <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> vote to raise and appropriate <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong><br />

$34,000 to fund <strong>the</strong> salaries and benefits for six months <strong>of</strong> 1999 <strong>of</strong> a full-time<br />

planner and part-time planner's administrative assistant. If approved, both<br />

positions will be filled by <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> Manager in accordance with Chapter 8,<br />
