A motion to restrict reconsideration was made by Frederick Rice and<br />

seconded by Michael Plouffe. It was voted to restrict reconsideration on Article<br />

39.<br />

ARTICLE 40<br />

Shall <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> authorize <strong>the</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Selectmen to <strong>of</strong>fer<br />

for sale <strong>the</strong> property acquired through a legal settlement at 237 Landing Road<br />

in a manner that is in <strong>the</strong> best interest <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>.<br />

Moved by Bonnie Searle<br />

Seconded by Brian Warburton<br />

Selectman Searle addressed <strong>the</strong> article.<br />

Noting <strong>the</strong>re were no questions<br />

<strong>the</strong> Moderator declared that Article 40 would be on <strong>the</strong> ballot as written.<br />

Frederick Rice moved to restrict reconsideration on Article 40.<br />

ARTICLE 41<br />

To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> will vote to<br />

correct <strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> grantee <strong>of</strong> a<br />

conveyance <strong>of</strong> Tax Map 151, Lot 012 consisting <strong>of</strong> 2,645 square feet for <strong>the</strong><br />

assessed value <strong>of</strong> $2,500.00 to "Bailey Condominium Unit Owners Association"<br />

ra<strong>the</strong>r than "Bailey Beach Resort" and to reaffirm Article 46 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> 1995 <strong>Town</strong><br />

Meeting granting <strong>the</strong> Selectmen <strong>the</strong> authority to sell <strong>the</strong> above property<br />

currently leased from <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>.<br />

Seconded by David Lang<br />

The article was explained and Gerald Dignam moved with a second by<br />

Kenneth Bouchard to place <strong>the</strong> article on <strong>the</strong> ballot without fur<strong>the</strong>r discussion.<br />

The Dignam motion passed by 2/3 vote.<br />
