ARTICLE 23<br />

On petition <strong>of</strong> Seacoast HealthNet and twenty-five registered voters to<br />

see if <strong>the</strong> town will vote to raise and appropriate <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $0 $2,000 to<br />

support <strong>the</strong> health services <strong>of</strong>fered by Seacoast HealthNet to <strong>the</strong> uninsured,<br />

working families who are residents <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> town.<br />

ARTICLE 24<br />

To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> will vote to appropriate only $98,000<br />

(20% <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> gross lease and rental from town's parking areas located within <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Hampton</strong> Beach Village District) for <strong>the</strong> purpose allocated by Warrant Article<br />

#41 (1996) for <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong>: installing sidewalks, curbs and lighting on<br />

Church Street ($80,000).<br />

The remainder to be spent on engineering costs on<br />

Church Street ($8,000) and Ashworth Avenue ($10,000).<br />

To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> will vote to appropriate only <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $21,900 to<br />

be deposited in <strong>the</strong> Cemetery Burial Trust Fund, <strong>the</strong> interest from which will be<br />

withdrawn annually and deposited into <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong>'s General Fund as an <strong>of</strong>fset to<br />

<strong>the</strong> amount appropriated for <strong>the</strong> maintenance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> cemeteries. This<br />

appropriation will not effect <strong>the</strong> 1999 tax rate.<br />

ARTICLE 26<br />

sum <strong>of</strong> Two Thousand eight hundred and seventy dollars ($2,870) for <strong>the</strong><br />

purpose <strong>of</strong> defraying <strong>the</strong> cost <strong>of</strong> services provided to <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> and<br />

its residents by Seacoast Big Bro<strong>the</strong>rs Big Sisters <strong>of</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>Hampshire</strong>. (By<br />

petition)<br />
