ARTICLE 19<br />

On petition <strong>of</strong> Vivianne G. Marcotte for <strong>the</strong> Conservation Commission<br />

and at least twenty-five registered voters <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>: To raise and<br />

appropriate $15,000 for <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> continuing <strong>the</strong> restoration <strong>of</strong> our<br />

degraded salt marshes.<br />

This will enable <strong>the</strong> Conservation Commission to apply<br />

for matching funds from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Ducks Unlimited, Gulf<br />

<strong>of</strong> Maine Council, <strong>the</strong> Office <strong>of</strong> State Planning, NH Coastal Program, and o<strong>the</strong>rs<br />

to accomplish projects costing twice this amount and more.<br />

sum <strong>of</strong> $6,250 to assist Seacoast Hospice, a non-pr<strong>of</strong>it organization. (By<br />

On petition <strong>of</strong> Richard Gibbons, 102 Mace Road, <strong>Hampton</strong>, NH and 25<br />

or more registered voters <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>:<br />

To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> will<br />

vote to support <strong>the</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> Christmas Parade and related activities and raise<br />

and appropriate <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $3,500 to help defray <strong>the</strong> expense <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> 1999 event.<br />

Said funds to be paid to <strong>the</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> Beach Area Chamber <strong>of</strong> Commerce.<br />
