2.3 Configuring <strong>Slave</strong> Parameters<br />
The steps provided in the following two sections are alternatively required<br />
for the two cases listed hereafter, to configure the parameters of the<br />
<strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>DP</strong> <strong>Slave</strong> device using the <strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>DP</strong> <strong>Slave</strong> <strong>DTM</strong>:<br />
• <strong>Slave</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> at the Root-Line (Stand-Alone <strong>Slave</strong>)<br />
• and <strong>Slave</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> at the Master busline.<br />
