8.2.1 Sending Packet<br />

Packet Header<br />

Under Send > Packet Header the elements of the packet header of the<br />

sending packet are displayed, which is transmitted from the application<br />

(configuration software) to the device. The packet header of the sending<br />

packets contain the elements described in the following table.<br />

Element<br />

Description<br />

Dest Destination Queue Handle Contains the identifier of the receiver for the packet<br />

(destination task queue of the firmware).<br />

Src Source Queue Handle Contains the identifier of the sender of the packet<br />

(sending task).<br />

Dest ID Destination Queue Reference Contains an identifier for the receiver of unsolicited sent<br />

packets from the firmware to the application<br />

(configuration software).<br />

Src ID Source Queue Reference Contains an identifier of the sender.<br />

Len Packet Data Length (in Bytes) Length of the send respectively receive data.<br />

ID Packet Identification As Identifies identical data packets among each other.<br />

Unique Number<br />

State Status / Error Code Transmits status or error codes to the packet sender.<br />

Cmd Command / Response Code Command or respond code.<br />

Ext Extension Field for extensions (reserved).<br />

Rout Routing Information Internal value of the firmware.<br />

‣ Under Dest select the receiver (destination task queue).<br />

‣ Under Cmd select the command identification (Request).<br />

Auto Increment ID is an increment for the identifier of the data packets<br />

and increments the ID by 1 for each newly sent packet.<br />
