Note: In recognizing different generic limits, Dillon & Sagástegui (1991: 50–51) proposed that Lucilia conoidea<br />

Wedd. was ‗distinct and readily recognizable‘ from L. kunthiana (DC.) Zardini. This contrasted with<br />

Anderberg & Freire‘s view (Anderberg & Freire, 1991) who recognized the two, one as a synonym <strong>of</strong> the<br />

other, under a modified concept <strong>of</strong> Belloa, as Belloa kunthiana (DC.) Anderb. & S. E. Freire, and a narrower<br />

concept <strong>of</strong> Lucilia than originally proposed by Freire (1986).<br />
