referrable to var. it is not clear whether the <strong>Bolivian</strong> material also referred to this variety. Cabrera (1985:<br />

206) appeared to suggest that the Gay collection was the holotype <strong>of</strong> the variety, but did not indicate which<br />

<strong>of</strong> the other collections was holotypic material, or otherwise, <strong>of</strong> the other varieties.<br />
