Native <strong>of</strong> Europe and widespread, and <strong>of</strong>ten weedy, in many areas.<br />

‗Bolivie Septentrionale (Province de Larecaja) Cordillere de Sorata M. Weddell 1851. Derniere plante<br />

ligneuse que l‘on remarque dans l‘ascension de la Cordillere‘ – P. Also noted was Weddell 4523 as a<br />

paratype, although this would have to be regarded as a syntype.<br />
