<strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> has served as a Continuing Consultant for the City of Deltona since April of<br />

2002. Our services have included support to several departments including Public<br />

Works, Public Utilities, Development Services, Parks and Recreation and the Building<br />

and Fire Department.<br />

Our public works services included: CIP planning and budgeting; stormwater utility<br />

study and rate adjustment; Public Relations on controversial projects; Stormwater<br />

Retrofit Projects; Cost estimates; peer reviews of projects by others; flood plain<br />

modeling and mapping; grant support; stormwater master plan update; mapping of<br />

various infrastructure; CEI services; preliminary design reports; and emergency<br />

management support during flooding. <strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> also coordinated and managed the<br />

City’s debris removal program follow the hurricanes in 2004.<br />

<strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong>’s support to public utilities involved: water and sewer master plans; design<br />

and permitting of water and sewer utility projects; rate studies; engineering services to<br />

relocate utilities for roadway projects; and water and waste water treatment plant<br />

improvement projects.<br />

<strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong>’s support to the Development services involved review of commercial<br />

industrial site plans; attending DRC meetings; conducting site inspections; preparing<br />

miscellaneous development review manuals and policies; preparing GIS maps for<br />

various functions such as flood plains and problem lots that should be given higher<br />

levels of consideration during the development review process.<br />

Our involvement with Parks and Recreation included: Engineering design and permitting<br />

of improvements at several parks; Grant Support; Design and permitting of several<br />

floating docks; Support for seawall rehabilitation.<br />
