D.3 – Supplemental Material<br />

<strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong>'s QA/QC/QI Process includes the following:<br />

1) The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning and budgeting for project reviews upon project<br />

initiation.<br />

a) The PM will develop a work plan for the project.<br />

b) During the project planning activities, the PM will identify the individuals who will perform the project<br />

review(s). The PM will consult with the affected Discipline and Group Leaders as needed.<br />

c) The PM may conduct any of the following reviews in addition to technical project review(s), as<br />

appropriate: Added Value/Constructability Review, Lead Discipline Review, New Product Review.<br />

d) All <strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> deliverables are reviewed prior to being released to the client.<br />

2) <strong>Tech</strong>nical reviews will be conducted per the project review schedule and documented on the appropriate<br />

discipline(s) technical checklist(s).<br />

3) The reviewer will conduct a quality control review on the project deliverables.<br />

a) Individuals who perform technical review have experience in the subject being reviewed and will be<br />

independent of the project.<br />

b) In addition to the criteria listed on the technical checklists, the reviewer must consider the standards,<br />

codes, and regulations applied to the project. The PM will ensure that the deliverable is reviewed against<br />

the client’s expectations.<br />

c) All company standards are adhered to unless superseded by client standards.<br />

d) The reviewer(s) will perform the following checks as appropriate: check calculations, plan content,<br />

quantities, probable costs, plan presentation, and back check red-lines.<br />

e) The completed review checklist is sent to the PM along with marked-up versions of the deliverable (if<br />

generated).<br />

f) The PM or appropriate designee (i.e., a member of the related technical discipline) is responsible for<br />

reviewing subconsultant work.<br />

g) The reviewer’s signature on the Deliverable Authorization Form indicates that the reviewer confirmed<br />

that the technical review(s) was conducted, red-lined drawings were back checked, and the deliverable<br />

meets the client’s expectations.<br />
