<strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> has provided continuing miscellaneous professional engineering services to<br />
the City of Cape Coral for a variety of utility related projects since 2000, and prior to that<br />
for preparation of the City’s Annual Reports as required for compliance with their Utility<br />
Bond covenants. Specific projects have included lift station refurbishment design, water<br />
and wastewater treatment plant modifications, utility infrastructure improvements and<br />
other miscellaneous engineering services as needed, and have included the following<br />
services:<br />
• Permitting related services for the City’s water and wastewater facilities (including<br />
preparation of Capacity Analysis Reports and permit renewals).<br />
• Water main, wastewater collection and force main system upgrades and replacements.<br />
• Lift Station conversions (dry pit to wet pit) and rehabilitation.<br />
• Evaluations and inspections of the existing utility systems.<br />
• Water Treatment Plant improvements (degasification upgrades, chemical storage<br />
expansion).<br />
• Water and Wastewater system evaluations (smoke testing, water audits, leak detection,<br />
meter testing).<br />
• Hydrogeological services for monitoring wells and concentrate discharge.<br />
• Irrigation system improvements (weir installation and piping for canal interconnections).<br />
• Preparation of Annual Reports and Engineering Report for Utility Bonds.<br />
• Security Improvements associated with Water Treatment and distribution systems.<br />
• Upgrades to instrumentation and controls at Water Treatment Plant and remote storage sites.<br />
• Building Improvements/additions associated with WTP, other Utility Buildings<br />

nearly 15 lift station upgrades for the City. The upgrades have included conversion from dry pit to wet pit, wet<br />
well rehabilitation, pump and electrical upgrades and pipe replacement through the valve vault<br />

Utility Bonds since 1994<br />
• Galvanized Pipe Replacement – <strong>Tetra</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> has performed design and permitting for the replacement of nearly<br />
40,000 linear feet of aging 2-inch galvanized pipe with new 6-inch PVC pipe within a congested residential area<br />
