MAKE BOW AT NATIONAL MEET
Delicia Lucky Bite sugar wafers in a bar
type five-cent cellophane package was presented
by Delicia Chocolate & Candy Co.
The item, especially suitable for warm
weather sales, contains five sugar wafer
sticks, three in vanilla and two in chocolate
flavors.
Charms Honey Almond Nougat and
Chocolate Almond five cent bars were brand
new items exhibited for the first time by
Charms Co. The former, coated with sweet
chocolate and the latter with milk chocolate,
are wrapped in cellophane-covered
foil, similar to the Charms 25 Carat bar,
noted for its fine quality. The company also
displayed its new All-Spice addition to the
Charms line of hard candy squares in a
five cent foil package. This item features
five assorted flavors—sassafras, cinnamon,
cloves, wintergreen and anise.

Hollywood's Hail bar made its debut as
the newest member of the Hollywood Candy
Co. line of five-cent bars. Hail is a warmweather
piece containing filberts, coconut
and caramel with a malted milk coating.
Welch's Nibble-Siae Summer Candies
were exhibited in a half dozen different
packages by the James O. Welch Co. All
suitable for theatre sales, they offer variety
in selection as well as taste and eye appeal.
Three were five-cent packages: Junior
Mints, miniature chocolate covered mint
patties; Pom Poms, milk chocolate caramel
balls; and Jolly-ettes, assorted coconut
balls. Three others were cool-looking 25-
cent packs, with cellophane windows; Coconut
Balls in seven flavors; Creme Mints,
nibble-size white and green peppermint
patties; Panama Patties, an assortment of
colorful fruit-flavored cream patties with
crunchy sugar coating.
Mason's Candy Berries, new five-cent
French-type gumdrop candies, were displayed
by Mason, Au & Magenheimer Conf
Mfg. Co. Shaped and colored like red raspberries,
this confection is similar in soft,
chewy consistency to Mason's well known
Dots and Black Crows, making an appropriate
addition to the line. Berries are
packed in a new-style cardboard pocketsize
box with small window.
