Low-Sweeping Back Featured
In Griggs 30 Choir
Two new features have been incorporated
in the 30-llne chairs now being manufactured
by the Griggs Equipment Co.
The backs of the chairs have been extended
even further than the low backs
originally introduced in the design of the
30 chair which appeared in the fall of
1949. The second change has been the
streamlining of the chair tops so that they
follow a more rounded pattern.
The low-sweeping backs protect the Du-
Pont Pabrlllte vinyl plastic upholstery of
the seat from scuffing or kicking of persons
from behind.
New Orangeade and Lemonade P-502
Concentrated Juice Mixes
Two new bases, produced from pure concentrated
fruit juice and all ready for
mixing with water to make orangeade and
lemonade, are being introduced to the thea-
P-501 tre refreshment business by the California
F^-uit Growers Exchange.
Known as Exchange Orangeade Base and
Exchange Lemonade Base, the products are
packed in 46-ounce tins. The contents when
added to water will make 28 ten-ounce
servings, at a cost of approximately 3! '2
cents a serving.
Described as long profit, high quality ingredients,
the orangeade base contains concentrated
orange juice to which has been
added orange oil flavor, certified color and
sugar. The lemonade base consists of single
strength lemon juice, flavor, benzoate of
soda and sugar.

the new Kent quiet vacuum cleaner announced
by the Kent Co., Inc.
The new machine is small, lightweight
and produces a strong vacuum for cleaning
floors, stairs, rugs, draperies. It may be
converted to wet pickup for shampooing
rugs. The vacuum may be carried or
wheeled on four sturdy casters.
