All institutions which do not send the quarterly returns prior to the above due
dates will have to bear the full responsibility for not getting the required
stocks at the correct time in correct quantities.
Stock control procedures at Institutional drug stores
5. Based on the quarterly return and the annual estimate, the RMSD or MSD
(for centrally managed institutions) shall supply the quantity of drugs
required by the institution.
6. (a) However, under special circumstances of emergency or short supply
situations the institution should make an urgent request and the same will be
