It offers a wonderful view of the Gorenjska region with its mountain peaks, the highest of which is Mount Triglav. Guests can enjoy meals prepared on the farm or cook their own meals. The farm offers home grown fruits, vegetables and meat, since there are cows, horses, donkeys and chickens in the stables and grazing in the meadows, and there is also a vegetable garden. On the farm you can buy organically grown apples, vinegar, brandy, vegetables and seasonal pork meat products and sausages, all of which are home grown and prepared in a natural way. Ana, the hostess, prepares good home-cooked food as well as dishes suitable for those with allergies or requiring special diets. There are many possibilities for excursions since the farm is an excellent starting point for visiting the entire Gorenjska region. Some of the distances (by car) from the farm are as follows: Begunje 5 minutes, Bled 15 minutes, Lesce 10 minutes and Brnik 25 minutes. Consequently, there are many sports activities available for their guests, such as swimming, rafting, skydiving, motorcycle rides (across Slovenia, Italy and Austria). The guests can borrow bicycles on the farm for free. They can visit nearby museums and galleries or enjoy local polka/oberkreiner music by Avsenik's band. open to guests: 1. 1. - 31. 12. The Tominc farm stands at the edge of the village, open to the west with a view of the Jelovica, Pokljuka, and Triglav mountain ranges. Ivanka Frelih serves her guests a variety of homemade food: fresh vegetables, various meats, milk and dairy products, jams, compotes, and dried fruit along with herbal beverages, syrups, brandies, and must. Since the Pogačniks only rent apartments, guests must look after their own food, but fresh vegetables, milk, dairy products, eggs, and homemade juices and brandies can be purchased on the farm. The guest lounge has television, radio, and telephone, and guests can use the washing machine and garage. While you can swim at nearby Lake Bled, the farm has an 8x4-meter swimming pool with a glass roof. There is a barbecue, a covered space for picnics, and a children's playground beside the pool. You can go bicycle riding and play tennis, table tennis, or volleyball. There are many opportunities for walks in the surroundings, 300 meters from the apartments guests can fish, they can attend folklore performances in Bled and the surrounding area since three members of the family are enthusiastic folk dancers. T S U N G O M Q S E V C K J I L R B P H The Porta organic tourist farm is on the outskirts of the village of Ovsiše, set amidst meadows and forest. The guest accommodation has original furniture with a modern bathroom and kitchen, which even features a dishwasher. Guests may relax on the double hayrack, where they may look at the collection of old farm implements or afford themselves the luxury of sleeping on the hay. Various products may be purchased on the organically-certified farm, including organic vegetables, potatoes, herbs and dried fruit. You may also buy conserves, dried meat products and cider. Your hosts will be happy to lead you around the nearby footpaths. Upon request, excursions with mountain guides to the surrounding mountains or rafting on the Sava may also be arranged. Jamnik, the Šum waterfall, Dovžan gorge and Begunje are enticing hiking destinations. The farm is also an ideal starting point for a visit to Bled, Kropa or Brezje na Gorenjskem, among others.

They bake bread at home and look after vegetarians as well. Guests can rent bicycles, sleds, and skis on the farm (the Zelenica ski center beside Ljubelj Pass is the closest), and hiking enthusiast will come into their own in the nearby mountains of Konjščica, Javornik, Košuta, Kriška gora, Stegovnik, and Storžič. Another interesting destination is the Dolžan Gorge, a site of fossils from the Permian period, the last period of the Paleozoic era, of world importance to researchers of the earths past. open to guests: 1. 1. - 31. 12. T G M S U H A Q The Rekar farm, whose old house boasts an ancient “black kitchen,” offers a beautiful panoramic view over Mount Kriška gora, Mount Triglav, Jamnik, Lesce, and Radovljica. The farm, which has a certificate for organic farming, breeds fallow deer. The hostess is a very skillful cook and will delight you with her venison goulash, stuffed rabbit, roast veal, deer and veal steaks, and rabbit pâté as well as with her excellent mushroom soup, žganci, štruklji, masovnik, and originally prepared vegetable dishes. The farm is an excellent starting point for ascents to the surrounding hills and mountains. Javornik, Konjuščica, Stegovnik, Storžič, Kriška gora, the Storžič mountain lodge, etc., all invite you to climb to their tops. If you wish, you can go bird watching or discover the ever new and interesting world of wild animals. T U E N B G O V W Our farm stands on its own in the beautiful valley of Ravenska Kočna, on the edge of meadows and forests, with a wonderful view of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. We are surrounded by mountain peaks on three sides (Kočna, Grintavec, Dolgi Hrbet, Mlinarsko Sedlo, Babe, etc.), and these themselves keep our guests coming back to us time and time again. We make every effort to serve healthy, local food. Our table offers a wide choice of cereal-based, vegetable and meat soups, local meat (beef, lamb, game etc.) and meat products, milk, dairy products, polenta, savoury strudels… and fresh pastries every day. In the evenings we chat with our guests about the history of the area and local sights of interest and/or plan activities for the next day, such as: mountain tours, excursions, boating on a nearby lake (Planšarsko Jezero) or gathering medicinal herbs, picking currants, getting the hay in and so on. It is distinguished by its mild alpine air, clean and rich with ozone. The organic Malek Tourist Farm lies on a secluded and sunny site below imposing cliffs of Makekova Kočna.
