The lady of the farm takes pride in her outstanding preparation of local delicacies and will serve buckwheat bread, crackling spread with salami, 'žlinkrofi' and 'married soup', a local dish, while vegetarians are also catered for. Guests may buy Savinja dried meats, salami, milk and the products of the Komen Society of Ljubno farms. Fishing is possible in the Savinja River that runs across the farm, hayrides are available, and in winter transportation to the Golte Skiing and Recreation Center is provided. Horse-drawn carriage rides are available upon request, and in winter transfers to the ski-recreational centre at Golte are a popular choice. Hikers love a trip up to Sv. Primož on Travnik. A visit to Logarska, one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys, will stay in your memory forever. This organically-certified farm will pamper you with original culinary specialities of the Upper Savinja region and organic produced vegetable: cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, kale… . Hikers may set out for Komen, Travnik or Stare stani, while skiing is available at the Golte resort in winter. As cycle hire is available on the farm, you might also like to ride out to destinations both nearby and further afield. If you ever wanted to live on a mountain farm devoted to organic farming when you were a child, you can do it now. The food on the farm cooking is local, diverse, and revives the tradition of the times when our grandmothers took enough time to prepare food with love. You will especially enjoy the savinjski želodec, all kinds of meat dishes, dairy products, vegetables, žlinkrofi, and homemade desserts. There are countless paths and trails nearby and they all lead into the peaceful and tranquil nature. You can climb to the alpine meadows on Mozirje, Golte, Smrekovec, Komen, Raduha, etc, and in winter ski enthusiasts can enjoy the Golte Ski Center just five kilometers from the farm. open to guests: 1. 1. - 31. 12. T K G O M Q S U V J I L R W F The Loger Farm is situated 4.5 km from Ljubno ob Savinji, in the direction of Logarska Dolina. It is an organic farm where sheep, goats, cows, ducks and two rabbits roam freely or in pens on the pasture. Guests staying on the farm will sample excellent lamb dishes, stuffed pig's stomach and other specialities from the Upper Savinja Valley. Children will enjoy playing with Miki, the farm dog, getting to know the ducks and rabbits and visiting the hen house, where Koki the cock reigns supreme. Facilities include a well laid out children's playground imaginatively complemented by a pleasant rest area. Every day you spend on the farm will teach you something new about farm life and work. The Logers will be happy to show you how to shear sheep or make wool. You can help them husk corn or press grapes, and you can even dance to the sounds of the accordion, the baritone horn and the trumpet, played by the farmer and his son. In winter you can try sledging by moonlight, while in summer you won't be able to resist sleeping in the hayloft. Places to visit in the surrounding area include Snežna Jama (the Snow Cave), Koča na Loki, Smrekovec, Logarska Dolina, making the farm a good choice for all who enjoy hillwalking and climbing.

Your hosts pamper guests with the delights of Slovenian cuisine. The culinary offer is set apart by its rich selection of soups, which guests may afford themselves in the form of mushroom, beef, onion, ‘grandmother’s’ and others. Moreover, žlinkrofi, Savinja cold cuts, štruklji, homemade bread, cheeses and other culinary surprises await you. The menu is also suitable for vegetarians. Members of the Prodnik family are proud of their sporting prowess and enjoy inviting their guests to join them by organising rafting on the Savinja river, as well as kayak and canoe hire. Summer is a time for taking advantage of the opportunity to hire bikes on the farm, while in winter skis are available to race you down the white slopes of the Golte ski-recreational centre. Free-of-charge use of the sauna and fitness centre is also available to guests. Your hosts will be happy to take you into the countryside and teach you about gathering mushrooms and blueberries. You can also take part in the making of sausages and other pork products or help make a few culinary delights, and go home enriched by having a recipe or two in your pocket. Furthermore, the farm is a fine starting point for a mountaineering trip to the surrounding peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, a visit to Logarska valley, Mozirski gaj and numerous other attractive places. The food on the Ramšak farm is healthy and homemade. There is never a lack of dried meat products, among which guests like most the savinjski zelodec, as well as the homemade bread, milk, and home-grown vegetables and fruit. Guests who especially like active vacations will enjoy the Logarska dolina valley. This tourist farm, also known locally as the Brinovec Farm Mill, lies by the road from Mozirje to Logarska dolina Valley, part of the picturesque landscape of the Upper Savinja Valley. A visit to the farm will remind you of the times when people still knew the taste of oven-fresh bread kneaded by hand from flour ground in the local mill. The farm is still involved in milling and baking, and they still produce cookies and many types of bread and other pastry goods. The hostess will gladly reveal the secrets of baking delicious bread, which like the rest of their produce does not contain any preservatives. The Brinovecs don’t mind if you help them to mill grain, and from the world of the farm they will gladly take you into the world of nature. If you wish, you can fish in the nearby Savinja River, hiking enthusiasts can explore the Logarska dolina Valley, skiing enthusiasts will be enticed by the Golte ski slopes, and the Mozirski gaj Botanical Park will enchant you during the warm months. The mainstay of farm life is cattle breeding, while farm tourism adds to their offer. Bed and breakfast or half-board accommodation has been offered to guests since as long ago as 1979. The meals are based on home-produced ingredients. Guests will be served a choice of local specialities prepared in line with our grandmothers’ recipes, while our main speciality is the Upper Savinja stomach. Both on the farm and in the surrounding area, there are many diverse ways to spend your time enjoying entertainment, recreation and the unspoilt countryside, including riding (carriage rides), borrowing bicycles, kayaking (the Savinja river has locations featuring demanding or more peaceful conditions), tennis, skiing (Golte ski resort), paragliding, hiking (in the surrounding area or further afield; possibilities to gather healing herbs, fruits of the forest or mushrooms), mountaineering (the Kamnik-Savinja Alps), hunting and fishing (deer, wild boar, blackcock, river trout, grayling and salmon varieties in the Savinja and Dreta rivers). The Upper Savinja valley provides visitors with a variety of cultural, historical and natural attractions, while simultaneously offering numerous possibilities for sports and recreation that will delight you, as will, above all, the fresh air and unspoilt countryside. 27
