Na Hribčku is one of only a handful of excursion farms in this region, so it's
well worth remembering if you want to visit this part of Slovenia. Set on a
small hill, a hribček, the farm has a lovely view of the Dolenjska hills and the
mountains along the Sava River. Guests can go for walks and gather chestnuts,
blueberries, and medicinal herbs in the beautiful surroundings. You can see
the lights of Ljubljana twinkling by night from the top of Janče, an hour's
walk from the farm. If you prefer to ride, bicycles can be borrowed from the
farm. Janče is also where the annual strawberry and chestnut festival is held.
Other celebrations that are fun to participate in include Carnival, the May First
festival, and harvest time. After all these activities, it's nice to relax at the farm
and enjoy a wholesome meal made with nothing but the freshest ingredients,
including all meat and milk products, vegetables, and fruit. The freshly baked
bread is made from wheat grown on the farm, and you can round the meal off
with a glass of good wine or brandy.

The Juvanija farm is located in one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in Slovenia
and has a magnificent view of the mountains. You will enjoy all sorts of meat and
dairy products, everything that the farms of the upper Savinja Valley produce.
Sausage, salami, savinjski zelodec, milk, cottage cheese, and cheese are the basic
morning dishes, joined by hot meat and vegetable dishes in the evenings. Beside
the house is a ski lift and a toboggan run, and hikes of various lengths are the
most popular summer activity. The source of the Savinja River is a five-minute
walk away, and a little longer walk takes you to the Rinka waterfall. Several hours
will bring you to Mount Okrešelj, Mount Olševa, the Potočka zijalka cave, or the
mountain lodge above Klemenča jama cave. You can also enjoy all the natural
and cultural attractions of the Savinja Valley by car.

The Lenar tourist farm lies at the heart of Logarska valley, which is known as one of the most
beautiful Alpine valleys in the world. The Logarska dolina nature park is the most visited
part of the Solčava district, which received the prestigious title of "European Destination
of Excellence". The Lenar tourist farm offers the following services: bed and breakfast,
apartment rental, facility rental for larger groups to use for meetings or seminars, sleeping
in the hay barn and horseback riding. Rooms and apartments have balconies or terraces,
bathrooms, TV and internet access. The tourist farm has the status of an ecological farm
and offers home-made products based on fruit and berries. Dairy and meat products for
breakfast are delivered from nearby ecological farms. Buffet breakfasts are quite generous
and tailored to the wishes of guests. The location of the Lenar tourist farm makes it an
excellent starting point for hiking and climbing in the surrounding mountains, as well as
hiking, jogging and cycling around the valley. In winter, there is a cross country skiing trail
and a sledding slope (also by night) right next to the farm. The nearest ski lift is just 1 km
away. The nearby tourist information office provides our guests with plenty of information
on the area and the possibility of renting equipment for active holidays in a natural setting.

The Plesnik Tourist Farm is situated in Logarska dolina, one of Slovenia’s most
beautiful valleys, and is surrounded by meadows at the foot of the Savinjske
Alps. At the farm, which has a certificate for organic farming, you will be served
various homemade delicacies. They are especially proud of their breakfasts
and surprise their guests with platters offering homemade savinjski želodec,
salami, cheese, jams, butter, and juices. They also offer delicious breakfasts for
vegetarians. The Logarska dolina Valley and the surrounding peaks with their
enchanting beauty and numerous possibilities for active holidays attract hikers,
climbers, bicyclists, and everyone who loves nature.
