The Ob Izviru Krupe farm is situated close to the source of the Krupa River.
The river, which is fed by the runoff from four watersheds, wells forth as a
mighty spring beneath a high limestone cliff and gathers in a deep dark green
lake. The meals served at the Cerjanec farm are traditional–as traditional as the
hospitality in this region–and include lamb or suckling pig on a spit, various pies,
pastries, and homemade wine fresh from the barrel. Guests may participate
in the farm chores such as haymaking, corn husking, and grape picking or try
their hand at herding sheep and driving a hay wagon. There are several wellmarked
nature trails on which you can explore the Krupa Landscape Park and
Bela krajina's unspoiled natural landscape, while those who like excitement can
go paragliding from Mt. Smuk or down to the nearby motocross course. There
are also numerous fascinating festivals such as the Spring Wine Festival in April,
the Jurjevanje festival in June, or the Semič Wedding in July.

The Gabrijanovi farm is situated near forests and vineyards only 500 meters
from the Kolpa River. Although tourists have only recently begun to discover the
beauty of this region of Slovenia, Mira Gabrijan knows very well what her guests
like best and dishes up a mixture of classical and traditional foods, which include
lamb or suckling pig on a spit with homemade bread, gibanica for dessert, local
red or white wine, and walnut, plum, or blueberry brandy. The main attraction of
the region is the Kolpa River, where guests can go swimming, fishing, or boating
in a canoe rented at the farm. The farm also has bicycles available, table tennis,
and a children's playground and swings. The museum of domestic crafts and the
Wine Road can be explored on foot, and a short drive will take you to the nearby
ski slopes or the Dolenjske Toplice Health Resort.

The Pri Štefaniču Tourist Farm is located in Dragatuš in the Bela krajina region
in southeastern Slovenia, halfway between Črnomelj and Vinica. Dried meat
products, prežganka soup, mushroom soup, buckwheat and corn žganci, lamb,
sucking pig, salad with homemade apple vinegar, and delicious homemade plum
jam for breakfast are only a few of the delicacies you will be able to enjoy at
the Štefanič farm. Their meals are served with excellent selected wines and fruit
brandy. Fans of non-alcoholic drinks will especially enjoy their homemade apple
juice. The first point of interest is the hosts’ gostilna, Župančičev hram, where
the Slovene poet Oton Župančič spent his youth and where a memorial room
has been arranged. The people of Bela krajina also named the walking trail that
leads through Lahinja Regional Park after the poet. The surrounding area invites
bicyclists, and an interesting forest education trail runs above the village of
Obrh. If you wish, the Štefaničs can organize a canoe trip down the Kolpa River
for you and demonstrations of making linen from flax and Easter egg painting.
A visit to the house wine shop will also be interesting.

The Čemas tourist farm is situated in the heart of Kolpa Nature Park and is just a
hundred meters away from the Kolpa river. Your hosts lovingly prepare various dishes
that will satisfy all palates. Some of their specialties include venison goulash, venison
salami, Scottish beef prepared in different ways and Pharaoh's bread that will intrigue
you already by its curious name. If you appreciate homemade products, you certainly
won't leave the farm empty-handed. You can buy a variety of farm products such as
delicious apple juice, dry fruit, various cured meat products and a lot more on the farm.
Your hosts will warmly welcome each and every guest on the farm, both those who
decide to stay on the farm as well as those who come just to enjoy their delicious food
or celebrate a special occasion with a festive meal. The apartment and the room are well
equipped. The farm is also an excellent starting point for visiting the nearby thermal
spa Dolenjske toplice or the Bela ski slopes in winter. In summer, swimming in the
warm and crystal clear Kolpa river is a must, and canoeing and rafting is an experience
you will remember for the rest of your life.
