The figure for total employment within <strong>the</strong> IT services sector (NACE 72) is 79,400, which compares<br />

reasonably with <strong>the</strong> 92,100 given from Eurostat (<strong>of</strong>ficial Swedish LFS) sources for <strong>the</strong> same NACE<br />

sector.<br />

In terms <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> IT Practitioner workforce across all sectors, <strong>the</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficial Swedish LFS figures held by<br />

Eurostat for <strong>the</strong> relevant occupations show a strong growth at <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> 1990s.<br />
