New build “Kainzenbadstrasse North“ Kainzenbadstrasse 1 -11 and 2 - 24 An estate in green surroundings. Looking at the buildings in the Kainzenbadstrasse North with their wooden balconies and steel stairways leading to gardens and trees, you may be reminded of a landing stage for a large ship. Four blocks, each with three entrances, mark the first phase of the renovation area in the heart of the Maikäfer Estate. Between October 1996 and July 1998, the Lenz+Partner architects bureau created 100 apartments, of which 54 are subsidised, plus 46 owner-occupied apartments with ground leases. To protect the old trees, the public Kainzenbadstrasse was converted into a private road, which also made it possible to construct an underground garage beneath it. 27
