BR stated that for the study an aggressive population growth rate has been assured to reach 5,000 population in 25 years = 4.2% growth. AR stated that rehabilitation work just started for VI control; 14 manholes done to date. FB interested in defaults of NPV's of 5 and 10 year yI rehab programs. LN handed out tables. FB asked if cost estimates for downtown sewer upgrades included cost estimates. LN stated that costs included in Options 1 to 5. Life cycle costs are all in 1999 dollars. O&M costs are those costs unique to each option. FB noted that these are slip problems along river banks, especially near correction facility. Needs preliminary assessment. Could rule out use of routing? May even be a problem along highway. Access to manholes along gravity route (road) could be difficult; 4m + turnarounds required. Land acquisition costs not included. Development potential with gravity main along Hwy 16. Animonic toxicity not a current issue. Mackus Rd. PS pumps need to be replaced now. What is correct pump size?
