increments. At each successive increment, a total systems support assessment should be<br />
conducted for that block. This introduces the need for assessment and revision of support<br />
strategies as a continuing, life-cycle process, with the corresponding need for regular<br />
reviews, as outlined below.<br />
E.5 FOC supportability reviews assess the adequacy and effectiveness of existing logistics<br />
support. They are required at FOC, and periodically thereafter, or when precipitated by<br />
changes in requirements/design or performance problems. These post-deployment reviews are<br />
held nominally every 3-5 years after IOC or when precipitated by changes in<br />
requirements/design and should include:<br />
• Review PSI/PSP performance,<br />
• Review incorporated product improvements,<br />
• Confirm configuration control, and<br />
• Modify PBL agreements as needed based on changing warfighter requirements,<br />
system design or effectiveness of the product support/sustainment strategy.<br />
E.6 Pre-IOC and FOC Product Support Criteria. The following checklist provides product<br />
support assessment questions that may be applicable to IOC or FOC assessments:<br />
