o Have the operators, maintainers, testers, and trainers worked with the Program<br />

Office to integrate the Hazardous Materials (HAZMATs) used to operate and<br />

maintain the new or modified system into the Installation HAZMAT<br />

Management Program (IHMP) according to AFI 32-7086<br />

• Have HAZMATs required to support the system been identified<br />

• Are these HAZMATs new to the user community<br />

• Does training emphasize the proper handling and storage of these<br />

materials<br />

• What efforts will be made to reduce or eliminate the use of<br />

HAZMATs for the support of the system<br />

• Are HAZMAT properly tracked, stored, handled, and disposed of<br />

adequately<br />

• Are Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) available for all HAZMAT<br />

o Have the operators, maintainers, testers, and trainers used the Program Officesupplied<br />

ESOH hazard tracking data as the basis for their application of<br />

Operational Risk Management (ORM) to the operations and maintenance of<br />

the new or modified system according to AFI 90-901<br />

o What new ESOH hazards were identified and have the risks been assessed,<br />

hazards eliminated or risks mitigated, mitigation measures verified, and<br />

residual risk accepted at the appropriate management levels<br />

o Are the operators and maintainers working with the Program Office to ensure<br />

the Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness of the new or modified<br />

system as required by AFI 63-1201<br />

• Have corrective actions been identified and implemented to address these issues and<br />

concerns<br />

• Is the TDP suitable for provisioning and competitive procurement<br />

• Are control drawings for all vendor items contained in the TDP<br />

• Does the TDP adequately describe all unique manufacturing processes, test<br />

requirements, etc.<br />

• Has the TDP been delivered to the drawing repository<br />

Technical Manuals<br />

• Are approved technical manuals available to support the end item and all peculiar<br />

support equipment<br />

• If not, what is the workaround plan to compensate for this deficiency<br />

• How will funding requirements for post-production support of technical manuals be<br />

identified (i.e., updates and revisions)<br />
