o Size of the program (acquisition objective and funding profile),<br />
o Funding status,<br />
o Organizational structure of the program office,<br />
o AS (including contract status) and IMS,<br />
o Status of the program's documentation,<br />
o Scope of the review, and<br />
o Program office and logistics points of contact.<br />
H.3.2 Product Support Strategy brief (presented by the Program’s Director of Logistics):<br />
o Structure of the logistics management team and organization,<br />
o Discussion of the LCMP, SORAP, and PPP,<br />
o Status of logistics KPPs and KSAs,<br />
o Overview of the maintenance concept,<br />
o Funding issues affecting product support strategy implementation,<br />
o Status of applicable documentation (e.g., approval status),<br />
o Status of each of the sustainment elements to be reviewed,<br />
o Rationale for not reviewing a specific area (if applicable),<br />
o Contract vehicle and status, and<br />
o Names and phone numbers of program office counterparts.<br />
H.3.3 Team brief (presented by the <strong>ILA</strong> team leader):<br />
o A review of the responsibilities of the team leader and team members,<br />
o Specific logistics assessment schedule of events/agenda,<br />
o Instructions on documenting observations,<br />
o Report format and contents,<br />
o Guidance on determining the time frame in which recommended actions need to be<br />
completed (e.g., does the action need to be completed before the program decision<br />
milestone or contract award), and<br />
o Post-review procedures.<br />
H.4 Periodic Progress Briefs.<br />
These briefs are conducted during the <strong>ILA</strong> at times agreed upon by the team lead and<br />
the program office representative. The purpose is to brief the program office of any issues<br />
noted during the assessment as well as to resolve any issues from the previous progress brief<br />
that were unresolved. During these briefs, the <strong>ILA</strong> lead will:<br />
• Discuss new issues with the PM,<br />
• Obtain the PM’s concurrence or non-concurrence on each issue/observation as well as<br />
on the team leader's logistics certification recommendation, and<br />
• Conduct follow-up on issues from the previous progress brief.<br />
H.5 Final Outbrief.<br />
This brief is presented at the conclusion of the assessment by the <strong>ILA</strong> team to the PM,<br />
the Product Support Manager and other PO members as identified by the PM. In the final<br />
outbrief, the team lead will discuss the final assessment results, the draft report, and<br />
