• The product/TDP is consistent with the maintenance plan and provides a X U<br />

sufficient level of detail for reprocurement, upgrade, maintenance and repair<br />

of hardware. The product/TDP normally includes:<br />

o Specifications, technical manuals, publications, engineering<br />

drawings/product data models and special instructions such as for<br />

unique manufacturing and test processes.<br />

o Interchangeability and form/fit/function information.<br />

o ESOH requirements.<br />

o Preservation and packaging requirements.<br />

o Test requirements data and quality provisions.<br />

o Preventative maintenance system/maintenance requirements card.<br />

o Environmental stress screening requirements.<br />

3. Technical Orders<br />

• Contents are verified on production configured system or equipment by X U U<br />

government personnel.<br />

• Ensure ALC, lead MAJCOM, contractor personnel and all other stakeholders X U U<br />

participate in technical order (TO) guidance conferences.<br />

• Has a TO manager been appointed X U<br />

• Is funding adequate for the development of operator and maintenance X U<br />

manuals<br />

• TOs include: X U U<br />

o Required readability/comprehension levels.<br />

o Operational and maintenance instructions.<br />

o Parts lists and breakdowns.<br />

o Related technical information or procedures exclusive of<br />

administrative procedures.<br />

• Commercial manuals have been evaluated using MIL-HDBK-1221. X U U<br />

• The contents of the product/technical orders have been integrated into the X U<br />

interactive electronic technical manual (IETM), considering the following (if<br />

applicable):<br />

o The contents meet Web-enabled Air Force requirements as applicable.<br />
