5. Install the support post accurately, in line with cable runs, to minimize
friction and eliminate possible cable wear.
6. It’s much better to keep the entire cable installation above ground.
Try to avoid the necessity of crossing a driveway or walk area. If a
driveway or walk area must be crossed, consider going over, rather
than under. An alternate choice in such situations would be a
pneumatic system.
7. Mount all terminal posts and guide posts in concrete for a permanent,
sturdy installation.
NOTE:It is recommended that all ESVs use a transfer hose cable control
as the first line of defense. Specify Part Number 7609-50. Use it even
for applications not incorporating a permanently attached hose by
attaching cable to truck end of break away fitting or piping.
NOTICE
LP-Gas is extremely flammable and explosive. Failure to install parts exactly as
described in the instructions could result in a product that will not perform satisfactorily.
Even if parts are correctly installed, the product might fail to perform satisfactorily if other
parts are worn, corroded or dirty. Improper repair can cause leaks and malfunction,
which could result in bodily injury and property damage. Any such use or installation
of parts must ONLY be done by experienced and trained personnel using
accepted governmental and industrial safety procedures.
Most Engineered Controls International, Inc. products are listed with Underwriters
Laboratories as manufactured. If repaired, the continued validity of the UL listing is
contingent upon proper inspection to determine what needs repairing, proper repair
using Engineered Controls International, Inc. parts and procedures, and proper testing
for leakage and performance following repairs and installation.
Engineered Controls International, Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability for performance
of products repaired in the field. It must be clearly understood that the person or
organization repairing the product assumes total responsibility for performance of the
product.
Engineered Controls International, Inc.'s total liability for any and all losses and damages
