No. Firm T y p 65 Chapter-4 Alstom SCONSIGNEE SCC 4.7 -(a) The consignee for this work will be Senior FSection Engineer (Signal)/Stores/ Valsad for Mumbai (BCT) Division work & Senior Section Engineer (Signal)/Stores/ Vadodara for Vadodara (BRC) Division work for track side equipments and Signalling material. (b) The consignee for On Board Equipments will be Senior Section Engineer /RS / Vadodara (BRCY)& Senior Section Engineer /MEMU /Vadodara(BRCY) Original Text Clarification needed Clarification of Western Railway Our understanding is that for SOR items consignee shall be the Purchaser. For imported items the Bill of Entry shall be filed in the name of Purchaser. Please confirm. Title to the equipment manufactured or sourced outside India shall pass to the Purchaser once the equipment passes over the ship‟s rail / aircraft door in the country of origin. Kindly confirm. Irrespective of title to equipment, risk in respect of each item will pass to the Purchaser on the date of issue of the Provisional Acceptance Certificate. Kindly confirm. This Para is self explanatory and should be read in totality. All materials are to be supplied to nominated consignee along with relevant inspection and commercial documents. The contractor will be responsible for proper up-keep of equipments supplied and installed till warranty period is over. 66 Chapter-4 SCC 4.8 Alstom TTRAINING: -(i) (a) Training of Railway officials at Wmanufacturer's premises for understanding of Smanufacturing, and design processes pertaining to Ehardware & software. This also includes demonstration of interoperability, operation, maintenance, data preparation & configuring of the system at working site as mutually agreed training program. We understand that Contractor is responsible for imparting training of Railway Officials only for the purpose of installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment. Kindly confirm. This Para is self explanatory and should be read in totality. OEM has to impart required knowledge mentioned in this Para to different groups as per requiement of Railways .
