Original Text Clarification needed Clarification of <strong>Western</strong> <strong>Railway</strong><br />
Please provide the Signaling Role plan for<br />
proposed section, in order to optimize<br />
quantities of LEU & Balises.<br />
Power supply for the On-board mentioned<br />
only 110V, whether it is AC or DC<br />
Power supply for track side will be provided<br />
as 110V AC.<br />
Since our LEU module internally converts<br />
AC to required DC voltages, the additional<br />
conversion of AC to DC power supply (as<br />
per RDSO specification 6.26) may not<br />
require. Also the back up power supply<br />
arrangement can be provided accordingly<br />
As per 14.0 (i) the CENELEC DMI‟s to be<br />
provided, hence 8 position switch may not<br />
require, since this feature is covered as per<br />
RDSO clause 6.18.1.2 (V).<br />
Please provide the Signaling Role plan for<br />
proposed section, in order to meet the<br />
requirement as per cl 4.5 to 4.10<br />

The nominal supply is 110 Volts DC<br />
with variation from 70 V to 136V.<br />
For track side : The Nominal votage<br />
is 110 Volts AC 50 Hz with variation<br />
of -30% to +20% over the nominal<br />
voltage. The back up is to be<br />
provided as per amended clause<br />
14.0(f) issued by RDSO. The changes<br />
in this regard will be notified,<br />
subsequently.<br />
For CENELEC- DMI, the 8 position<br />
switch is not required, necessary<br />
amendment in this regard will be<br />
issued.<br />

Please clarify the location of LEU will be LEU shall be centrallised in Relay<br />
centralized or near the signal. This is room / Equipment Room / Relay<br />
required to arrive at the quantity of types of huts, as far as possible.<br />
