Could you please detail for each
Locomotives of the same family WAP-4 and
EMU characteristic are the same (i.e. Is
there 3 different types in Locomotive WAP4
itself),
If any differences in the
same Locomotive WAP4 and EMU then
please specify precisely types and numbers
of locos and EMUs (i.e. with SIV, with
ARNO converter, Crew friendly or not…)
and related brake system.
The WAP4 Locomotives are
generally of two types: (i) with SIV
and (ii) with ARNO converter. Please
see annexure-4 (page139) of tender
document. In order to get more
acquaintance, tenderer may do site
visit at Electric Locomotive shed/
Vadodrara and MEMU
shed/Vadodrara with prior
permission.

inform the number of distributed assests and
also confirm that in case distributed assests
have 230V AC, then Railways will provide
230/110V AC step down transformer or this
item is already covered under schedule item
D13.
Also, we understand that power cable will be
provided by Railways. Please confirm.
This Para is self explanatory. The
distributed asset is any thing which
is outside relay room/ realy hut/ autohut.
Railway will provide 230volt or
110 volt AC. The step down
transformers are covered in under
Schedule.

is required to lay cable from ECR to the LEU

Tenderer as per quantity give in the

Cable if required will be supplied by
Railways.
