No. Chapter-4 Firm Alstom T y p TWARRANTY MAINTENANCE SCC 4.44.1 -Fault rectification and regular preventive Wmaintenance of the total installation is to be done by Sthe contractor within the warranty period of Five EYears under warranty maintenance. The infrastructure planned to be created by the bidder to his obligations under warranty maintenance and his action plan to deal with the various situations arising out of hardware and software fault shall be clearly indicated. 80 Chapter-4 SCC 4.46.(vi) Alstom GAs for as SOR items are concerned, the limit of 25% would apply to the value of SOR schedule as a whole and not on individual SOR items. However, in case of NS items, the limit of 25% would apply on the individual items irrespective of the manner of quoting the rate (single percentage rte or individual item rate). Our understanding is that the quantity variation limit of 25% applies to the total value of the contract and not to any individual SOR item.
