Original Text Clarification needed Clarification of Western Railway
Please clarify what is meant by Deflector or
protection cover. As normally there is no
deflector or protection cover to be provided
for balise.
We understand that the cable markers will
be supplied by Railways. Please confirm. If it
is to be supplied by Contractor, please
supply drawing or details of the same.
We understand that Railways intend for
decentralized LEU for the TPWS. Please let
us know whether our understanding is
correct. Please provide drawings / details of
LEU Line side Cabinet to be supplied.
Also please confirm that each Line side
cabinet will house a single LEU.
We understand that the proposed quantities
of different type of Eurobalises are to be
submitted after award of contract and after
receipt of the signalling plans from Railways.
Please confirm.
Please let us know quantities of various type
of eurobalise.
This Para applicable only if
Deflector or Protection Cover are
being provided for protection of
balises. Necessary amendment in
this regard will be issued.
Cable markers will be supplied by
Tenderer as per Schedule Item no D-
11.
LEU shall be centrallised in Relay
room / Equipment Room / Relay
huts, as far as possible.
Tenderer has to quote as per
quantities mentined in tender
schedule. However, the break-up of
proposed quantities of different type
of Eurobalises (switchable, infill,
repositioning) should also be
submitted.
This item pertains to switchable with
complete details given in item B.2.1
Please provide us the drawing as mentioned. Drawings can be purchased from
this office in office Hours.
We understand that there are only two type
of variants in the WAP-4 locomotive. Please
confirm.
The WAP4 Locomotives are
generally of two types: (i) with SIV
and (ii) with ARNO converter. In order
to get more acquaintance, tenderer
may do site visit at Electric
Locomotive shed/ Vadodrara with
prior permission.
