maintenance supervision of the equipment for a<br />

period of 12 months (Minimum) from the issue of<br />

PAC. For this purpose he shall prepare a<br />

maintenance plan and make available the services<br />

of qualified maintenance engineer stationed the<br />

location approved by <strong>Railway</strong>'s Engineer who will<br />

guide and supervise the work of <strong>Railway</strong>'s<br />

maintenance staff. The maintenance engineer of the<br />

contractor will visit Master station and all the base<br />

stations at least twice in a month for regular upkeep<br />

and attend to any fault on the systems promptly.<br />

Kindly confirm if the 5 years period after<br />

FAT is a warranty period or a maintenance<br />

contract period whose price is deemed to<br />

included in the tender, given that Para 4.45<br />

says that no AMC is applicable.<br />

G(vi) As for as SOR items are concerned, the limit of<br />

25% would apply to the value of SOR schedule as a<br />

whole and not on individual SOR items. However, in<br />

case of NS items, the limit of 25% would apply on<br />

the individual items irrespective of the manner of<br />

quoting the rate (single percentage rte or individual<br />

item rate).<br />
