contractor shall be responsible for proper
maintenance supervision of the equipment for a
period of 12 months (Minimum) from the issue of
PAC. For this purpose he shall prepare a
maintenance plan and make available the services
of qualified maintenance engineer stationed the
location approved by Railway's Engineer who will
guide and supervise the work of Railway's
maintenance staff. The maintenance engineer of the
contractor will visit Master station and all the base
stations at least twice in a month for regular upkeep
and attend to any fault on the systems promptly.
Kindly confirm if the 5 years period after
FAT is a warranty period or a maintenance
contract period whose price is deemed to
included in the tender, given that Para 4.45
says that no AMC is applicable.

based on the guidelines provided by the supplier.
Kindly confirm if "supplier" needs to be read
as "contractor" and clarify what is the
meaning of sentences in bold.
Supplier means Original Equipment
Manufacturer "OEM" of TPWS.
Sentences in Bold are self
explanatory requiring more attention.

G(vi) As for as SOR items are concerned, the limit of
25% would apply to the value of SOR schedule as a
whole and not on individual SOR items. However, in
case of NS items, the limit of 25% would apply on
the individual items irrespective of the manner of
quoting the rate (single percentage rte or individual
item rate).
Kindly confirm if "SOR" actually refers to
Chapter 6 Schedule of Material & Works. If
not what is the meaning and content of this
acronym
The Schedule of Material & Works
given is cahpter-6 consists of Non-
SOR Items. "SOR" stands for
"Schedule of Rates" issued by S&T
Department of Western Railway.
