This command specifies or cancels <strong>the</strong> black/white inverted<br />

printing.<br />

• “n” is valid only for <strong>the</strong> lowest bit (n0).<br />

• Control by <strong>the</strong> lowest bit (n0) is shown as follows:<br />

Function<br />

0 The black/white inverted printing is canceled.<br />

1 The black/white inverted printing is specified.<br />

• Number “n” is only valid in <strong>the</strong> lowest bit.<br />

• The black/white inversion works on internal and downloaded<br />

characters.<br />

• The black/white inversion works also on <strong>the</strong> right spacing <strong>of</strong><br />

characters defined by ESC SP.<br />

• This command does not affect <strong>the</strong> bit image, downloaded bit<br />

image, bar code, HRI characters, or <strong>the</strong> skip area specified by<br />

HT, ESC $, or ESC \.<br />

• This command does not affect <strong>the</strong> space between lines.<br />

• Black/white inversion specification takes precedence over<br />

underline specification. Underline printing specified is,<br />

<strong>the</strong>refore, nullified if black/white inversion is specified; <strong>the</strong><br />

underline setting, however, remains unchanged.<br />
