Waiting for label cutter action:<br />

Wait until <strong>the</strong> label discharged by <strong>the</strong> GS+FF (Cut Label &<br />

Discharge) command is cut by <strong>the</strong> manual cutter and <strong>the</strong><br />

FEED switch is pressed.<br />

If "No Cutter" or "No Peeling Mechanism" is chosen, <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>printer</strong> becomes Busy.<br />

Label detection error:<br />

Label gaps or black marks could not be detected, or <strong>the</strong> label<br />

sheets used do not fall in <strong>the</strong> specified length limits.<br />

If a label detection error occurs even though <strong>the</strong> label sheets<br />

used fall in <strong>the</strong> specified length limits, it is most likely that <strong>the</strong><br />

sensor or its peripheral electronics is defective. The <strong>printer</strong><br />

becomes Busy.<br />

Waiting for label peeling action:<br />

Wait until <strong>the</strong> label discharged by <strong>the</strong> GS+FF (Cut Label &<br />

Discharge) command is peeled <strong><strong>of</strong>f</strong> <strong>the</strong> base sheet. If <strong>the</strong><br />

"Peeling Mechanism" is chosen, <strong>the</strong> <strong>printer</strong> becomes Busy.<br />

FEED switch<br />

• Pressing this switch briefly causes one line <strong>of</strong> paper feeding. Holding down <strong>the</strong><br />

switch causes continuous paper feeding.<br />

• While a macro is waiting to be executed, pressing <strong>the</strong> switch causes <strong>the</strong> macro<br />

to be executed.<br />

FEED switch and POWER switch<br />

If you press <strong>the</strong> POWER switch while holding down <strong>the</strong> FEED switch, self printing<br />

is performed.<br />

Buzzer-on Timing<br />

If ei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> following <strong>printer</strong> errors occurred, <strong>the</strong> buzzer sounds and <strong>the</strong><br />

ERROR LED comes on:<br />

1. Paper-End (PE) or Cover Open<br />

Four short "pip" tones sound in 2 cycles at a 0.5-sec. interval.<br />

2. Auto Cutter Error<br />

A continuous "pip" tone and "peep" tone sounds for 1 sec.<br />
