2 <strong>SafeCom</strong> <strong>Go</strong> <strong>HP</strong> - Device Server<br />
Thirdly, make sure that the Main Color Settings are set up correctly on the<br />
device's web page. The settings need to match the setting on the device server.<br />
To open the Main Color Settings:<br />
1. Open the device in a web browser and login (2.8.1).<br />
2. Click the Copy/Print tab and then Restrict Color.<br />
3. Verify that the copy color settings under Main Color Settings are set up<br />
so they match the settings on the device server. If for example copy color<br />
is enabled in the device server, the Enable Color on the web page must<br />
be checked as well.<br />
4. Click Apply at the bottom of the web page.<br />
2.9.4 Enable Scan to Folder<br />
For <strong>SafeCom</strong> to be able to control access and track Scan to Folder, it needs to<br />
be set up as follows:<br />
� Tracking of Scan to Folder must be enabled in <strong>SafeCom</strong> Device Server.<br />
� The authentication method must be set up to <strong>SafeCom</strong> on the web page<br />
for the individual device.<br />
� The save to folder application for each device must be enabled on the<br />
device's web page.<br />
First enable <strong>SafeCom</strong> to do tracking on copy and copy color on the Device<br />
server:<br />
1. Open a web browser and login to the <strong>SafeCom</strong> Device Server (2.3.10).<br />
2. Click on Device server in the menu on the left, and then click on the<br />
device.<br />
3. Click Device applications.<br />
4. Make sure that Scan To Folder is checked in the list of applications.<br />
5. Click Save.<br />
Second, the authentication method on the web page must be set up for the<br />
Save to Network Folder application on the device:<br />
1. Open the device in a web browser and login (2.8.1).<br />
2. Click the Security tab and then Access Control.<br />
3. Under Control Panel Application, restrict the access for the copying by<br />
clicking the Device Guest checkbox for Network Folder application.<br />
4. If you want to restrict access for editing the network folder path, expand<br />
Network Folder application and check Device Guest for Ability to edit<br />
network folder path.<br />
5. Choose <strong>SafeCom</strong> as the Sign In Method.<br />
6. Click Apply at the bottom of the web page.<br />
