DESCRIPTION<br />
The Controlled Atmosphere notation CA indicates that a refrigerated cargo vessel is fitted with<br />
equipment and systems for supplying Nitrogen or equivalent gas to cargo holds, including associated<br />
safety features, in accordance with <strong>the</strong> applicable requirements <strong>of</strong> Part 6, Chapter 2 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>ABS</strong> Rules<br />
for Building and <strong>Class</strong>ing Steel Vessels.<br />
