HSC<br />
DESCRIPTION<br />
High Speed Craft (HSC) – This notation is assigned to craft that have been built in accordance with<br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>ABS</strong> Guide for Building and <strong>Class</strong>ing High-Speed Craft, or equivalent. Where approved by <strong>the</strong><br />
Committee, for unrestricted ocean service, such craft will be distinguished in <strong>the</strong> Record by <strong>the</strong><br />
symbols À A1 HSC À AMS indicating compliance with <strong>the</strong> hull and machinery requirements <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Guide.<br />
This notation for High Speed Craft (HSC) is to be assigned to <strong>the</strong> following craft designed and built<br />
to <strong>the</strong> requirements <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>ABS</strong> Guide for Building and <strong>Class</strong>ing High Speed Craft.<br />
