DESCRIPTION<br />
SafeHull Dynamic Load Approach (SH-DLA) – This notation is assigned to high speed craft to<br />
provide enhanced structural analyses to assess <strong>the</strong> capabilities and sufficiency <strong>of</strong> a structural design. A<br />
fundamental requirement <strong>of</strong> SH-DLA is that <strong>the</strong> preliminary design <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> structure be in accordance<br />
with <strong>the</strong> <strong>ABS</strong> Guide for Building and <strong>Class</strong>ing High-Speed Naval Craft criteria.<br />
