This notation is assigned to a vessel that is designed and constructed for <strong>the</strong> carriage <strong>of</strong> liquefied<br />
petroleum gases. The <strong>ABS</strong> vessel type notation Liquefied Petroleum Gas Carrier with Type-A<br />
Independent Tanks forms part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> classification designation assigned to vessels built in<br />
accordance with <strong>the</strong> <strong>ABS</strong> Guide for Building and <strong>Class</strong>ing Liquefied Petroleum Gas Carriers with<br />
