DESCRIPTION<br />
No Sparring (NS) – The NS notation is assigned to vessels to indicate that no sparring has been fitted<br />
in <strong>the</strong> cargo holds. Sparring may be omitted in vessels engaged in <strong>the</strong> carriage <strong>of</strong> coal, bulk cargoes,<br />
containers and similar cargoes.<br />
