NOTATION<br />

AT<br />

DESCRIPTION<br />

Additional Thickness (AT) – This notation is assigned to all conventional type vessels and to floating<br />

production installations where <strong>the</strong> vessel incorporates additional plate thickness above <strong>the</strong> required<br />

scantlings. The notation will be followed by <strong>the</strong> description <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> major hull girder component(s) that<br />

has <strong>the</strong> additional thickness. It will also include a number to indicate <strong>the</strong> magnitude <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> additional<br />

thickness (rounded to <strong>the</strong> nearest 0.5 mm) that has been applied, i.e., AT(DK+0.5).<br />
