Fire barriers<br />
If the busbar system is routed through a fire wall or ceiling, a fire<br />
barrier must be fitted. Depending on the customer’s requirements,<br />
Siemens offers fire barriers with a fire resistance rating of<br />
S90 and S120.<br />
Standard lengths, optional lengths and junction units are<br />
supplied with fire protective equipment as specified in the<br />
ordering data (see "Fire Barriers", page 5/94).<br />
Factory-fitted equipment:<br />
• Internal fire barrier<br />
• External fire barrier, if required<br />
• Documentation (certificate of approval, wall-mounted signs<br />
and declaration of conformity)<br />
Mineral based mortar or ZZ fire barrier sealant TS90 (see "Fire<br />
Barriers", page 5/101) for sealing joints between the busbar<br />
trunking element and fixed structure must be supplied by the<br />
customer.<br />
